We’re on a mission to make financial stress the exception, not the norm.

Too many people arrive at the end of the month with nothing left and assume that’s just how it goes. It isn’t. We’re changing that, one workplace at a time.

Our Story

It started with a credit card and a quiet acceptance.

Amar, our CEO, didn’t grow up talking about money. It was something you got on with and if the end of the month was tight, the credit card filled the gap. Normal right? That’s what he thought too.

When Amar started his career, he also opted out of his pension. Years later, staring at the compound interest he’d missed, the penny dropped. Loudly.

That experience is what drives everything we do. My Money Matters exists to have the conversations that workplaces have been quietly avoiding for decades, partnering with NHS trusts, local authorities and public sector employers to give every employee the clarity and tools to actually get ahead. Not someday. Now.

"I missed ten, fifteen years of pension contributions because nobody had taken the time to explain what I was actually walking away from. That's the thing; people don't opt out because they're careless. They opt out because they don't understand. And that's not their fault."

- Amar Mistry, CEO | My Money Matters

Money is complicated. Talking about it shouldn’t be.

We don’t do jargon. We don’t do guilt. We meet people where they are, whether that’s figuring out why the money runs out before the month does or building a retirement plan that doesn’t rely on wishful thinking.

No one is beyond help.

Every financial situation can be improved. We start from where you are, not where you should’ve been.

The earlier, the better.
A pound in a pension twenty years ago is worth far more than one today. We help people understand that sooner.

Employers hold the key.

The workplace is where change happens at scale. We meet employees inside the organisations they already trust.

Honesty over comfort.

We’ll show employees the gap between where they’re headed and where they want to be, then help them close it.

The impact.

Financial stress doesn't stay at home. It walks into work every morning. When your people have the right tools and support, the difference shows up in their pocket and in your organisation.
